“What are your nightmares about?” Edward asked in a whisper, breaking me from my thoughts. I turned towards him; his gaze fixed on his hands. I frowned, not really wanting to relay my sordid past to him. When I didn’t answer his green eyes met mine and he frowned. “You don’t have to tell me, I was just curious. I wasn’t trying to pry.” He said softly with a sincere expression.
“No…” I said quickly. “It’s okay, really. I just…I don’t really talk about it to anyone.” I said looking down at my hands folded on the tabletop. “You probably think I’m crazy enough with all the rumors going around, no need to add more fuel to the fire.” I added sourly. He snorted, but didn’t do anything to deny my accusations. He sat there silently looking into the distance with a far away look on his face. After a few minutes he turned towards me with a decisive expression.

one thing I will never understand is how normal people are unaffected by movies or books I mean when they watch a movie or finish a book they say “well that was a good movie/book” and they move on while I have an existentional crisis and question the whole universe
